A soft, cool breeze and a beautiful oceanfront location provided the perfect venue for the Path of Excellence Award to be presented to the 400-way largest formation world team. The Daytona Beach Bandshell provided ample space for the large crowd gathered to honor this incredible group of skydivers. The evening's festivities included a BBQ sponsored by Sun Path Products, Inc., Path of Excellence Presentations (plaques sponsored by Bourdon Forge Co., Inc.) and entertainment sponsored and provided by Bruno Brokken and Anna Moxness. A Path of Excellence Tribute jump was held at Skydive DeLand earlier in the afternoon.
World Team 2006 - World Record 400-Way – Largest Freefall Formation - February 8, 2006 over Udon Thani, Thailand was the largest multi-national sports team ever assembled to pursue a common goal. The 400-Way was the high point of the Royal Sky Celebration honoring the 60th anniversary of the reign of King Bhumibol Adulyadej. This spectacular event was organized by BJ and Bobbie Worth.
