As in any sport, skydiving has its share of heroes. Those who enter the Hall of Fame have helped make the sport what it is today.
Created in 2010, the International Skydiving Hall of Fame recognizes and honors those who, through leadership, innovation and/or accomplishments have defined, promoted, inspired and advanced skydiving at the highest and sustained levels such that they have made it possible for generations of skydivers to enjoy the sport. Whether you have made thousands of jumps or one jump you should plan to attend a Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. They are held annually over a festive weekend of skydiving and other activities at a dropzone venue.
It’s a weekend full of celebration. A time to meet the inductees, both current and past, make lots of skydives (if you are still current), get a legend to sign your logbook, see old friends and meet new ones and attend the Hall of Fame Ceremony.
Saturday night, this prestigious event brings together old timers and young superstars – all joining together to honor the Hall of Fame Inductees. The evening starts with the Hall of Fame Reception where you can mingle with and raise a glass to our heroes of skydiving. Following the reception is a sit-down dinner followed by the tradition of honoring extraordinary individuals with the jacket and plaque presentation. It makes it a night to remember.
