The Path of Excellence Award Goes to…..
“Jump for the Cause” is a group of women who came together over 2 decades and set multiple Large Formation Women’s World Records to raise money for the City of Hope Cancer Care Center in California. More than $1 million was raised by the participants through creative fundraising efforts that included bake sales, t-shirts, a dancing under the stars dinner party and an Adult Pink Playhouse Carnival, to name a few. Not only were there multiple world records, but it truly was an amazing engineering feat and they set an unbroken record on Saturday, September 26, 2009, when 181 women from 31 countries set a Largest Formation Women’s World Record. The efforts resulted in an award -winning documentary “Pink Skies the Movie” that highlighted the color formation.
