Bill Wenger has joined the International Skydiving Museum & Hall of Fame Board of Trustees.
Bill started jumping while attending Southern Illinois University in 1971 and is still an active competitive and fun jumper with over 10,300 jumps. Competitively, he has been a National Champion, World Champion and World record holder in Accuracy, 8-way and Large Formation as a civilian and a member of the Army Golden Knights. Bill coached the U.S. Air Force Parachute Team to 19 National Championships. He served on the USPA Board of Directors for 12 years serving as a member and Chair of the Competition Committee. He has worked as Meet Director for 10+ National and Collegiate National Championships. In 2016, Bill was the Meet Director for the World Championships Mondial which was the largest International Championships ever in the U.S. He is a multi-engine, commercial, and instrumented rated pilot with over 2000 hours flying jumpers and a PADI certified Master Diver.
