Larry Bagley
Larry K. Bagley, D-4522, has made an exceptional contribution to the parachuting community as a long-serving USPA board member, executive, and U.S. team delegate at international competitions. His skydiving journey began with his first military jump in 1963, followed by sport jumping in 1965. Over the years, Larry completed more than 5,200 sport jumps, with his final leap in 2001. Notably, he flew on the first unofficial and official FAI world record big-way formation—a 40-way in 1980. In recognition of his achievements, Larry received the prestigious Paul Tissandier Diploma from the FAI in 2003, and he and his wife, Cindi, were named Honorary Golden Knights. In 2013, he was honored with USPA’s Lifetime Achievement Award. A museum trustee since 2012, Larry’s legacy continues to inspire the skydiving community.
