Jack Jefferies
Jack Jefferies was a founding member of the legendary formation skydiving team Arizona Airspeed, established at Skydive Arizona in Eloy in 1993. Under his leadership, Airspeed went on to dominate national and international competition across both 4-way and 8-way disciplines. As part of the original lineup, Jefferies and his teammates captured three 4-way World Championship titles (1995 and 1997 in outdoor competition). The team also secured major national championships, World Cups, and multiple U.S. titles during his tenure from 1995 through 2012.

Airspeed quickly distinguished itself with groundbreaking performances that reset the standard for formation skydiving. By the mid-1990s, the team was posting world-class averages, including an extraordinary 20.7-point pace at a major U.S. Nationals event, results that underscored Jefferies’ influence on Airspeed’s early dominance.
