Hank Simbro


Henry “Hank” Simbro began skydiving in 1960 and quickly made his mark in the sport. A pilot and aircraft owner, Hank was also a skilled competitor, earning third place in the men’s 1000-meter accuracy event at the 1962 World Meet in Orange, MA. Before his skydiving career, he served as a decorated Marine Corps veteran during World War II and was wounded at the Battle of Iwo Jima. Hank passed away in 2010, leaving behind a legacy of service and skydiving achievement.
