Bruno Brokken
Bruno Brokken, born in Ath, Belgium, in 1963, has become one of the most renowned skydiving photographers and videographers in the world. He made his first jump in 1980 at the age of 17, inspired by his aviation-focused upbringing, with his father being a military pilot. Brokken’s career began in earnest when he moved to Empuriabrava, Spain, in 1987, following a personal tragedy that claimed the life of a close skydiving friend.

He served as an AFF instructor, tandem master, and started his journey as a skydiving cameraman in 1988. His work soon gained global recognition, documenting some of the world’s most exotic skydiving events and projects, including the Jetman project with Yves Rossy, and capturing stunning visuals of formations over iconic locations like the Great Pyramid of Giza and the Dubai Palm.
Throughout his career, Bruno has amassed over 26,000 jumps and earned numerous accolades in both competitive skydiving and photography. He filmed multiple world records, including the 400-way formation skydive in Thailand and the 100-way canopy formation world record in the USA. His competitive achievements include two first-place finishes in the World Meet for freestyle videography in 1992 and 1994, and a European Championship in canopy piloting in 2005.
Bruno’s contributions extend to commercial videography, where he has worked on major projects for brands like Xbox, Armani, Sony Playstation, and Coca-Cola.
