Previous Pioneers of Excellence Award Recipients

The Pioneers of Excellence Award has been presented by the International Skydiving Museum & Hall of Fame since 2021. The Award recognizes entities, including groups, companies, organizations and teams, for significant contributions of enduring high value to the world of skydiving made in the 1970s and before.

2024

Jerry Birds All Stars

Over the course of their five years together, the Jerry Bird All Stars dominated Relative Work (RW) and achieved a number of “firsts” regarding large freefall formations.

The Golden Knights Competition Teams

The Golden Knights have dominated in style and accuracy, 4-way and 8-way, CRW, CP and VFS – no other team has extended so far into almost every aspect of the sport.

US Freefall Exhibition Team

The US Freefall Exhibition Team introduced Relative Work to the world not just visually, but by team members actually jumping and teaching skydivers from across the globe.
