Important Message about the 2020 Hall of Fame Celebration

News

International Skydiving Museum & Hall of Fame Posted by: International Skydiving Museum & Hall of Fame 4 years ago

2020 has been a year like no other but, fingers crossed, the future holds hope. For now, we must remain cautious.

It is out of this abundance of caution, to keep everyone safe, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Celebration at Skydive DeLand (that had been rescheduled for April 2021).  While there is every indication a vaccine is around the corner, it will take time to ensure that gatherings are, once again, a safe and joyous occasion.

But, there is good news!  We will be celebrating the Hall of Fame Class of 2020 and 2021 at Skydive Perris the weekend of October 7, 2021!  By that time, we are confident that we will be able to gather safely and, once again, celebrate skydiving and its glorious history!  And, then, in 2022, we will hold the Celebration (finally) at Skydive DeLand!

We wish you all a very happy holiday season.  We will be sharing updates with you about the 2021 Celebration as we move into the New Year.  In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact Museum Administrator Nancy (Kemble) Wilhelm at nkemble@skydivingmuseum.org or tel: +1-407-900-9997.

All the Best,

James F. “Curt” Curtis III, President/CEO Board of Trustees
