“Handsome” Dave DeWolf Passes Away

In Memoriam

International Skydiving Museum & Hall of Fame Posted by: International Skydiving Museum & Hall of Fame 6 years ago

We are saddened to share that the sport lost a legend last evening: “Handsome” Dave De Wolf.

Dave was inducted into the International Skydiving Hall of Fame in 2016.  He was also a member of the museum’s Ambassador Program.

Dave committed his life to the sport and to everyone involved. Dave trained more riggers than perhaps anyone else and helped more people than we’ll probably ever know about.

What made Dave so special was who he was as a person. Dave had a huge heart, a quick wit, integrity and always saw the best in people.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Trudy and all of Dave’s family.  He will be missed.
